HOW WE GROW IT
Grown in open ground with deep, composted soil and full summer sun. We use a dark-skinned variety chosen for flavor and density, not shelf life. No synthetic fertilizers, no sprays — just well-prepared soil and time. We pick them young, before they get watery and bland.
THE PRODUCT
Dense, flavorful, and almost buttery when cooked — this is zucchini with genuine character. The dark skin is glossy and unblemished; the flesh is firm with very few seeds. At this size, the sugars are concentrated and the texture holds up to heat. Roasted, grilled, or simply sautéed, it doesn't collapse into mush.

A tip from our kitchen
Slice into rounds and fry in olive oil until golden — don't rush it. A little flaky salt and lemon zest at the end is all it needs. Or cut into batons, roast at high heat, and serve alongside grilled meat or fish. The skin is flavorful — leave it on.
