HOW WE GROW IT
Grown in open ground through the cooler months, in deeply composted soil with no synthetic inputs.
Cabbage is a slow crop that rewards patience — we don't rush it. The heads are left to develop fully
before harvest, which builds the density and sweetness that you don't get from fast-grown,
oversized supermarket heads. Harvested whole and delivered the same day.
THE PRODUCT
Firm, dense, and genuinely sweet — especially after a cold spell, which converts the starches to
sugar and noticeably improves the flavour. The outer leaves are intact and deeply coloured; the
inner leaves are pale, tightly packed, and crisp. This is a cabbage that holds up to long cooking and
tastes good raw. Available in two sizes — small and medium — one head per order, harvested to
match.

A TIP FROM OUR KITCHEN
Shred finely and dress with olive oil, apple cider vinegar, and a pinch of caraway for a simple slaw
that improves after an hour in the fridge. Or cut into thick wedges, brush with oil, and roast at high
heat until the edges char — completely transforms the flavour. Braise slowly with a little stock,
butter, and bay leaf for a side dish that needs nothing else
