How we grow it:
Dill grows best in undisturbed, healthy soil — exactly what we work hard to maintain here at Quinta de São Jacinto. No pesticides, no synthetic fertilisers. Just good compost, careful watering, and patience.
The dill:
Feathery, fragrant, and beautifully fresh. Our bunches are full and harvested at the right moment — not too young, not gone to seed. The aroma when you get the box will surprise.
Ordering details:
- Unit: Sold by the bunch (minimum 50 gr)
- Harvest: Cut fresh on Wednesday morning, delivered the same day
A tip from our kitchen:
Dill is wonderful with fish, eggs, potatoes, and yoghurt-based sauces. Add it at the end of cooking — heat kills its delicate flavour. It also makes a fantastic fermentation herb: tuck a few sprigs into your next jar of pickles for a classic flavour combination.
