True Spinach
Descrição
How we grow it:
Real spinach needs cool weather and good soil to develop properly. We grow ours only in early spring, in ground enriched with natural compost. The result is full, dark leaves — not the pale, watery version that comes in plastic bags.
The spinach:
Deep green, flavourful, and genuinely nutritious. This is spinach as it should be — with real body and an earthy, slightly mineral taste. It wilts beautifully for cooking and is equally good eaten young and fresh in salads.
Ordering details:
- Unit: Sold by the bunch (minimum 150 gr')
- Harvest: Cut fresh on Wednesday morning, delivered the same day
Storage tip:
Spinach doesn't keep long once cut — use it within 3–4 days for best results. Store loosely wrapped in the fridge. If it starts to wilt before you're ready, cook it down immediately and refrigerate — cooked spinach keeps for another 2–3 days and is perfect in omelettes, pasta, or on toast.
