Camomile flowers

HOW WE GROW IT
Grown in a sunny corner of the garden with no sprays of any kind — essential for something you'll steep and drink. We pick the small white-and-gold flowers by hand at full bloom, when the aroma is strongest, and deliver them fresh rather than dried. There's a brightness to fresh chamomile.
THE PRODUCT
Delicate, apple-scented, and gently sweet — fresh chamomile flowers have a softness and depth of aroma. The little daisy-like blooms are picked at their peak and arrive fragrant and alive. Beyond tea, they bring a quiet floral note to the kitchen that's worth exploring.
ORDERING DETAILS
– Unit: Sold by the bunch
– Harvest: Picked fresh on delivery morning
A TIP FROM OUR KITCHEN
For the freshest tea you'll ever have, steep a small handful of flowers in just-off-the-boil water for five minutes — honey optional. You can also infuse them into warm milk or cream for a panna cotta or custard, or dry the bunch yourself by hanging it upside down in a warm, airy spot for later use
